Weekly Awards

Each fortnight Stars of the Week will only be presented at whole school assemblies and published in our newsletter.  

Friendly reminder: All Prep and Grade 1/2 students will receive a Star of the Week certificate at some point during the year. We appreciate your patience as these are awarded on a rotating basis.

For students in Grades 3/4 and 5/6, Star of the Week certificates are earned through demonstrated effort, achievement, and commitment to our school values, and are therefore not guaranteed.

The class with the best attendance wins the weekly award called Cup of Life.

Thomastown West Primary School uses Class Dojo as a reward system. Individuals who receive the most Dojo Points each week are celebrated at our hole school assemblies each fortnight.

Attendance Awards

At the end of each term, students with an attendance rate of 98% or greater, are presented with certificates.

The class with the highest attendance rate for the term win a free dress day and a free special lunch.

The class with the best attendance for the entire year WINS a free excursion!!

Acknowledging Student Leadership

Each year we present our Student Leaders with their leadership badges.

Our school also has special presentations for students who excel beyond our school such as in sport or individual achievements

Graduation

Our year 6 students who excel in their field of excellence are presented with Excellence awards on their graduation night in December.
