Dear Parents and Carers,
The Australian Education Union has called on its members to take strike action on Tuesday 24 March 2026.
Based upon the information provided to me, 13 of our teaching staff and 6 of our Integration Aides will be taking part in the strike action.
As a consequence:
- Grade 3/4 students in Room 18 should attend school and will have a normal program, though there may have to be modifications.
- The following students are not required to attend school on Tuesday 24 March 2026:
- Preps, Grade 1 and Grade 2 (Rooms 2,3,5,6)
- Room 15 (Grade 3/4)
- Room 10 (Grade 4/5)
- Grade 5/6 (Rooms 9 and 11)
If this will cause you difficulties, in particular if you are:
- a critical service workers who are unable to make alternative arrangements or
- have children enrolled at TWPS who may be vulnerable including students with disability or in out of home care
