Colour Fun Run Success

A huge thank you to our families and students for your understanding and flexibility with the last-minute time change for our Colour Fun Run! There were storms predicted with a high pollen count and a thunderstorm asthma warning, so we decided to move it earlier in the day. The event was an incredible success, filled with laughter, energy, and plenty of colourful fun. It was heartwarming to see students, parents, and staff coming together, enjoying the day, celebrating the diversity in our school community and creating lasting memories. Every student received a pair of sunglasses, and students that raised money will receive their prizes once they are delivered to the school. Your support and enthusiasm made it all the more special—thank you for making it such an unforgettable experience! We hope you enjoy the photos in this newsletter!

Intra-School Transition: Preparing for 2025!

Smooth transitions between year levels are vital for a child's development and overall wellbeing, laying the groundwork for future learning and success. At TWPS, we understand that children thrive when they feel safe and have a sense of belonging. That’s why we take pride in our thoughfully planned transition sessions held at the end of each year. This week, students par濿cipated in their third session on Tuesday afternoon, where they explored what to expect next year and the exciting highlights ahead. We look forward to seeing their confidence and readiness grow as they prepare for 2025 with a new teacher and fresh opportunities!

Every Day of Learning Really Does Count!

At TWPS we want every child to achieve their full potential and we know that parents share this goal. There is a clear link between good attendance and educational achievement. If your child is not in school, on time, as often as possible they will be missing out on many important parts of their education.

Why is regular attendance at school important?

Regular school attendance will mean that your child has a better chance in life. Your child will achieve better when they go to school all day, every school day...
  • they learn better
  • they make friends
  • they are happier
  • they have a brighter future

If your child is sick, of course it is appropriate to keep your child at home but
other ‘days off’ school add up to lost learning. See below:

Cup of Life
